I visited The Bride after several failed weekends of wedding dress shopping. I was starting to become very disheartened by the whole process – I had been to several shops that were overcrowded, cold, rushed me or tried to put me in dresses the opposite of which I had described.
As soon as my Mum and I entered The Bride we were greeted by the warmest of welcomes. The shop is beautiful in its interior – warm, clean and full of character. I was listened to attentively about my previous experiences and asked exactly what I envisioned for my dress.
Little did I know that the first dress I tried on was ‘the one’! It was a Suzanne Neville gown a little out of my price range but the team went out of their way to help me secure the dress of my dreams. I’m forever grateful, because I just loved everything about it and never wanted to take it off!
From then on I would love my dress appointments. My Mum and I were never rushed and it felt so familiar coming back in to see everyone. Rani is just unbelievable in her talents as a seamstress – I don’t know how she does it! I had length off the bottom and side of my dress and my Mum and I were worried if it might make it look different. It returned just as I had ordered but the fit was unbelievable!
The collection of my dress before my wedding day was a little bittersweet – it was sad to think I wouldn’t be returning again!
