Dear brides
We have wanted to put pen to paper so often over the past few months, but the words just wouldn’t come. Nothing we wanted to say felt right or good enough given the circumstances we all found ourselves in.
Yet we didn’t want to reopen without acknowledging this time, this pandemic, a hopefully once in a lifetime event and how extremely difficult it has been on all of us, on the world. The hardships felt by all have been very different – physically, emotionally, financially – however it may be we have all been impacted.
For all of you this time has had added distress. A wedding is a joyful event; a celebration of love in the presence of your nearest and dearest. Months and years in the planning and then all of a sudden it is gone… no wedding, no party, nothing. And no certainty over when it can happen. We have been thinking about you all and often. We may not have been able to take away all the stress of the past few months, but we hope that your dress is one thing that you do not need to worry about. We have it all in order and will continue to do so until you walk down the aisle.
Love is Love
What this time away has taught us, and we hope all of you, is that Love is love, and it really does conquer all. Having spoken to brides after their ‘would be wedding day’, although tinged with sadness, all have been able to celebrate their lockdown wedding day in a special way and create a new memory that they will treasure.
As we move out of ‘lockdown’ and adjust to a new normal, things will be different. We know that anxieties and worries will not just disappear, but we can assure you that we will continue to give you a great experience, a space for you to try and forget the realities of the world, and a time for you to create special memories in the lead up to your wedding day…. whenever that may be.

Finally, we want to say a huge thank you for your support over the last few months. Your emails and calls have been so lovely, even when discussing postponements, and have meant so much to us as a team. You are the reason we do what we do and we love it. So thank you. We cannot wait to welcome you all back very soon – 21 days and counting!
