I went to two wedding dress shops- one in London and one in St. Albans.
When I was in the wedding shop in London, I felt like I was just another bride and it wasn’t a very personal experience. It was a completely different experience at the Bride. I absolutely loved trying on dresses there. Whenever I emailed the team, they always emailed me back within 1-2 working days. They were very flexible when I needed to change appointment timings.
One particular thing that I was impressed by was that once I had told them my budget they only showed me dresses in that price range which made me feel that they were genuinely trying to help me find a right dress for me.
My overall experience at The Bride was WONDERFUL! I brought my sister along with me to help me pick my dress. As soon as we got to The Bride, we were greeted by Lynsey who was so lovely and also gave us a great cup of tea!
I tried on A LOT of dresses and I felt like I was being very indecisive. Lynsey was very professional and helped me with all the dress and also gave me pointers on what worked well for me and what didn’t. I ended up narrowing my choice down to two dresses- both designed by Jenny Packham. I must have tried them on at least 3 times and not once did Lynsey make me feel like I was being a nuisance.
